Presentation provided by the Town of Danville Police Chief, Allan Shields, on the recent community burglaries.

Build relationships with neighbors, creating a habit of looking out for each other and implementing preventive measures with alarms as an essential first action and priority.

  • Alarms and cameras with monitoring service, motion detectors and remembering to set alarms.
  • Lighting the landscape of homes.
  • Trimming trees and bushes around home for clearance and visibility.
  • If you see something, say something, and call/text 911 in the event of an emergency, or Dispatch at 925-820-2144.
  • For safety reasons, please do not follow and chase after with your vehicle or engage with anyone leaving a residential burglary.
  • Adding additional cameras for the Wood Ranch community is being reviewed, please continue to check the website for updates.
